About Discovery Teams

What’s a discovery team?

It’s 5-12 people that meet together for orientation, bond as a team, travel to another country for a 2- to 4-week summer mission trip led by an experienced WEC missionary, return for debrief and go home changed.

What’ll you discover?

  • What it’s like to live immersed in a different culture and language
  • How missionaries respond to the challenges of ministry
  • The joys and frustrations of cross-cultural relationships
  • How you respond to it all, a long way from home and well out of your comfort zone
  • Perhaps, your next God-directed pathway on the journey!

Who can go?

You, if you love and trust Jesus as your savior and are 18 years old or older.

What trips are available this summer?
