Creating Effective Partnerships

Partnerships with Missionaries

More and more churches want to move from pray-and-pay relationships with missionaries to hands-on partnerships. For example, instead of merely praying for God to bless your missionaries’ outreach, you could send a team from your church to hold an English camp that could enable them to reach out to their community and build relationships. Partnerships like this generate new synergy between churches and missionaries with encouraging benefits.

Instead of hit-or-miss trips with hit-or-miss results, churches experience new ministry continuity by building on a base of skills and relationships from previous trips.
Churches and their missionaries realize a more dynamic ministry with greater long-term effectiveness.

  • Church members discover hidden gifts and new ministries for existing skills.
  • Church members will have a greater passion for global missions.
  • Raising support for missionaries and projects becomes easier and more fruitful.

Partnerships with People Group Networks

We live in an age where our cross-cultural ministries are more networked than ever. Not only are we passionate to see local churches well connected with their own cross-cultural workers, we want to see them partnering with other local churches, agencies and national churches. People Group Networks, such as Central Asian Partners, are an effective way to make this connection.

Sounds great, but how can I make it happen?

Does your church have a vision for a particular ministry or people group but no missionary on the other end? We can connect you with a WEC worker or team. Perhaps you have a relationship with a WEC missionary or team and want to do more than pray and pay, but don’t know what to do next. We’ll give you a hand. Do you want to connect with people group network? We’ll help you find one that matches your particular call in mission.
